Spring weddings - what to wear?
As a guest to two weddings in the next few months I have been busy thinking about what to wear…cue mini tantrum when I stand in front of my wardrobe flapping my arms and despairing that ‘I have nothing to wear’. But seriously, I don’t have anything to wear.
Well, maybe I could recyclea bracelet or some shoes or even a dress at a push but it is still always fun to beg/steal/borrow something new (I guess that is where 4 sisters does come in handy).
Spring is a tricky time in England - one minute the sun is out and you’re hot and the next, rain and wind sweep along and take you right back to Winter. Tights and a jacket are a must for Spring.
I am currently in love with pastels, florals and all types of blues. I could do some serious plastic damage over the next few days….

What are your thoughts on the latest collection? I love them. Granted I am probably not cool enough to pull off wearing a coloured gown on my W-day but I salute anyone that can. Surely, that has to be the ultimate individuality stamp on your day?

Elie Saab
Ok, so this isn’t strictly wedding related but I LOVE Elie Saab. If I had to grace the red carpets for the Oscars 2013 (Best Actress in a Leading Role) then this would be my dress of choice. Even without my over-active imagination, I still hope to ‘need’ an Elie Saab dress one day.He has of course collaborated with Pronovias for a bridal collection which I shall look into right now….

Suzanne Neville is one of the best bridal designers out there. Her dresses are completely exquisite. I tried on a few of her designs and felt amazing in them - Miss Neville certainly knows how to pull you in and flatter your figure.

Bridesmaids
Same same or different? There are so many ways to style your bridesmaids that I wanted to gather some pictures to help you.
I decided to let my 4 sisters choose their dresses (potentially a lethal idea) but it worked for us and we have ended up with 4 different dresses.
However, keeping your bridesmaids looking the same is timeless and you can have a lot of fun with it - you could keep the same colour and have different styles to suit different shapes or you could choose the same style and have your girls pick out their favourite colour each (in line with what you were thinking of course).
