Boho inspired shoot

There is something about a boho inspired shoot that will always get me so it comes as no surprise that this one by Iliana Morton Photography made me beam.

A vintage barn wedding - Vicky & Ryan

Today I have a wonderful wedding to share; yellow theme, a Carrie Bradshaw-esqu headpiece, a high-fiving dog (yes really) and so many brilliant vintage touches that I couldn’t possibly write them all down and do them justice.

So I think it is best if you just swoon at the images by Bphotographed instead.

First a few words from Sandra about the day, ‘we had the pleasure of photographing Vicky and Ryan’s wedding. They had their reception at Ryan’s grandfathers barn, which they totally renovated for the special event. Vicky, being a graphic designer, did all the work in terms of design!

We were very impressed with Vicky’s attention to detail, and love of everything vintage; they even hung a tree above the dance floor which took Vicky two days, on top of a ladder to decorate. They are clearly a couple that is loved by their family and friends, when the idea of holding the reception in the old barn, everyone told them they were nuts, but Vicky had a vision, and everyone at one time or another pitched in to make it a reality.’

Fashionable Love - Katie & Charlie

If your Monday morning is in need of a pick-me-up then this engagement shoot will do just that. Shot by Crissie McDowell, it is a beautiful mix of stylish modern couple meets ethereal beauty; swoon-tastic stuff folks. Crissie tells us more about Katie and Charlie,

[They] met years ago in college but did not kindle that little flame until a few years ago. We met for their engagement shoot at a swanky but rustic downtown pizzeria called Fire. We had the place to ourselves as the couple enjoyed a cocktail and some appetizers. Afterwards we headed up to get a great view of beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene just as the sun was going down. It was so much fun watching these two laugh, and make me laugh but most importantly, love on one another so much! They are adorable! And so dang stylish.

Laguna Beach Wedding - Lani & Liam

Today’s wedding comes all the way from Laguna Beach in California and after our recent weather here in England is a very tempting flight away. Shot by Heidi-O Photography it is a day of sheer happiness.

Pie Table Heaven - Nicole & Rocky

This is the perfect way to finish the week; a wedding bursting with personal style and pretty. On a personal note this is exactly the kind of wedding I want to be perving on 4 weeks before my own big day; it’s the perfect way of kick-starting the final surge to create ultimate wedding pretty.

Anyway, I digress…

Today’s wedding is shot by Daniel Balboa and Dabiel gives us his account of the day,

Rocky Stone and Nicole Bryant are two beautiful people! Their helpful, loving nature made this day so easy and special. The vintage chic theme created a very relaxed atmosphere for the guests and vendors to enjoy the day.

The fun story behind their day was the rain. It poured overnight and anything outside the last minute tents were wet. The coordinator and photographer, along with the owners of the property, worked together to dry everything off before the guests arrived.

The bride arrived just as the clouds parted and patches of blue skies appeared. Although a little chilly, the rain was held back until part way through the reception. The skys released the rain, thunder and lighting while the bride’s father blessed the newly weds with a heartfelt toast. The pie and dessert table were a small reflection of this unique couple’s desire to be real and authentic with who they are. It was a joy and privelage to capture their amazing day and beautiful love!

Our Love Story - Lauren & Matt

Lauren and Matt married at the Historic Menard Home in Galveston, Texas on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April followed by a simple dinner with their closest family and friends.

Captured by Alicia Pyne Photography this is a beautiful wedding with plenty of ideas to steal. Enjoy!

Boho shoot in the woods

Today I have a fun boho shoot to share with you by Patrick Hadley Photography. It may not be strictly wedding related but I love the nymph-like quality that the model brings to these photos and it makes me want to stick on my threadbare nightie and dance across a field.

It is perhaps a good job that I am not the model, and thankfully Helena is.

It has a feel of Midsummer Nights Dream about it and I think that is why I love it so much. Get ready to be lured in by the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen…

Anyone else feel like dancing across a field now?

Hot Pink in Spring - Katy & Keith

This outdoor wedding is the perfect start to a Monday morning; full of colour, smiles and emotion.

The photo of the groom setting eyes on his bride as she walks towards him makes my heart melt a little bit…HTB best get practising his loving gaze!

Jo Photo is the master behind the lens.
