Simple DIY 

I have got my whole family collecting jars (Douwe Egberts Coffee jars are a particular fine jar if you need the tip) with a mind to using them for flowers. 

Using a ball of twine purchased in Hobbycraft and some ribbons I bought from Amazon, we sat down for ‘DIY hour’ which actually turned into ‘DIY two hours’ and then ‘DIY morning’…much to my sisters’ delight (do not worry, they were fed well for their efforts).

We used glue dots to secure the ribbon but the twine was easy - you can wrap it around the jar and secure it by wrapping tightly and  knotting it back onto itself. 

Very easy and very rustic/shabby chic.
