The Church with the Red Door - Rachel & Jake
The princess bride in her princess dress just makes this wedding for me, it is utterly divine. There are so many other details to love about this wedding but for me, I just keep coming back to sighing over the dress! Captured by Amber S. Wallace Photography.

38 days to go…..
We’re down to the final weeks now which means my excitement levels are through the roof (it has also meant that I finally have the fear to dedicate some time to the likes of spinning and body pump…too little too late perhaps but it feels good all the same).
As the days continue I gradually tick things off the list(s); I’ve never been so organised that I work from just one list, five scattered around the house is more my style.
My most excitable ‘achievement’ this weekend was my Friday night outfit. Bicester Village is my second love and like an obedient wife I obey and succumb to its charms…
Here is a sneak peek at my Friday wardrobe:

Plus they double up for the honeymoon wardrobe (when it comes to justification I have a deep bag of tricks!)
It’s hard not to want to keep adding DIY projects and other ideas to the day but I know that we have more than enough to be dealing with and enough money has been spent on details. Here are some of the things that have caught my eye recently:

The hangover kit as a favour is a brilliant idea; I did wonder about giving those out on Friday night but decided that would encourage naughty behaviour and pounding heads for the Saturday!
So whilst I have my mother clambering a farmer’s log pile in the rain, my sisters are wrapping twine around jars, and I am bartering with a wine merchant for his wooden boxes I just want to stop and take it all in because it has been a wonderfully exciting time with only a few minor bumps along the way.
So, 38 days until I get to drink champagne and have the best weekend with everyone I love; how amazing is that!
I love the words and the fonts used in this poster.

I love this whole ‘wind-swept-with-my-man-in-my-veil’ look. Must try it on the day!

Stationery - Bunting
Using the idea of bunting for your stationery is perfect for a country themed wedding; it is so simple and evokes such a strong sense of your day.
I love the last image which is ‘save the date bunting’ which your guests would take out of the envelope and hang up to read the message. Perfect for any budding DIY-ers!

East meets West
If you want to incorporate some of the orient into your wedding day then maybe you will be inspired from the above. If you just want touches of the East you could use paper lanterns, orchids, or create a fan display. For those of you that want a bold display of eastern culture then a traditional Lion Dance is the perfect way to do this - said to bring good luck and ward off evil.
The invitations are from Tickle Me Ink on Etsy.
The paper lanterns can be bought from Not On The Highstreet.

Naval Love - Jamie & David
I love this Engagement shoot submitted by Emily Horton Photography. I don’t know whether it’s just because of the military connection or because I am now on the lookout for some equally beautiful coral heels but I just love every single photograph.
Jamie and David are both naval officers and plan to get married on David’s farm in Ohio later this year.
This is a stunning shoot and one I hope that you enjoy.

Zuhair Murad
The detail on Zuhair Murad’s dresses is exquisite; with so much lace and tulle it’s hard not to fall in love with them all.
I’m sure that it will come of little surprise that I do in fact love them all!
