Party Season Dresses
With party season almost upon us and for those lucky enough to be attending a winter wedding, there is every need for a new dress! So I’ve done some internet trawling (it’s safer that way) and inevitably spent far too long longing after most things on Net A Porter (definitely not safe) but have found a whole bunch of different styles and price ranges for a party season dress.
Needless to say, I want them all.

Christmas Weddings
With winter drawing in and a friend’s December wedding approaching, I’ve been thinking a lot about Christmas Weddings and the cosiness that surrounds them.
This range from DotComGiftShop is filled with the perfect Christmas gifts and/or wedding décor.
Needless to say that you won’t find anything worse than the paper shredder that my mum gave my dad a few years ago as his main gift; she thought that he would enjoy a ‘new toy’. Hmmm, we were all less than convinced but it did align with the pritt-sticks that myself and my sisters had received in our stockings at the start of the day. Needless to say it was somewhat of a stationery themed Christmas (I think W H Smith had some offers on that year).
We all mocked her at the time but they have all come in useful since…
Here are some of my favourite pieces that would help transform your winter wedding/party/Christmas day:
Somerset by Alice Temperley
I know that we are all desperately clinging onto the last rays of summer but the fashion world has already said it’s goodbyes and here is part of the long awaited collection from Alice Temperley for John Lewis.Perfect for winter weddings, parties and just those who want a little treat.
I am already wondering how I can justify the black and white blouse…1 month anniversary present?!

Music in Winter - Hannah & Chris
This Winter Wedding submitted by Sarah Crowder Photography and was created with music in mind as the bride and groom are two talented musicians.
The day was themed around a purple colour scheme (I love the purple bridesmaids dresses) with particular attention towards St. Louis.
There are so many lovely details in this wedding to be inspired by but my absolute favourite has to be the stationery, it’s quite simply amazing.

Winter
I know that technically we are in the wrong time of year to be yearning after a snowy wedding but there will always be brides who will spend their whole summer planning a frosty wedding day. So, just for them, I have put together some of my favourite winter inspired weddings from Style Me Pretty.
Grab some mulled wine, turn the heating off and cosy down under a rug and just pretend that its cold outside.
